
Argus technical staff perform engineering and consulting of research, design, development, and analytical calculations.
Such activities, in part, include:
- Research on enhancement and combination of the existing technologies
- Research and development in design, testing, and implementation of new equipment and materials, as well as in the modernization and adaptation of existing types of equipment and materials
- The development of technical documentation in compliance with the Unified System of Technological Documentation
- The development of technological layouts and technological charts for the production processes, including:
- The selection of appropriate technologies which provide effective solutions for the customer's requirements, project requirements, and industry standards
- The selection of equipment and materials, in accordance with technical requirements
- The description of each operation and of its component parts and an indication of the time required to complete them
- Employee qualification requirements
- Drawing up recommendations for necessary and sufficient supply of spare parts and for the interchangeability of required consumables
- The development of transport, technology, routing, and materials charts, as well as the calculation of labor productivity, drawing up of material and technical procurement and supply schedules, preparation of schedules and charts work procedures, and charts for quality control and elimination of defects
